Janice Tichy happened upon some information about Walkin’ N Circles Ranch. They have a thrift
shop that benefits the ranch. The shop is in Edgewood and they take all kinds of donations, clothes, furniture,
household items AND horse stuff. If anyone has some horse tack etc. to get rid of this would be a great place
for a donation. Sometimes tack and misc items are hard to sell, so here is a great place for all that kind of
“stuff”.

Governess cart – these carts were designed for the driver to sit
sideways and face forward so that she could care
for the children and her charges. This cart was built
by a master craftsman for me and my pony Emmitt.
Since then, I have developed bone spurs on my ribs
that prevent me from driving in that position. This
cart has many fine points, like wooden spindles,
electric (battery-operated) carriage lamps, burgundy
cushions and back rest. I have had as many
as 5 small kids and myself in the cart at the same
time. I have won both in pleasure diving
competitions and parades. Overall height of the box
is 42 inches, shaft width at cart is 28 inches, shaft
width at girth is 21 inches, height at girth is 30
inches, wheel is 36 inches, and box is 42 inches by 55 inches at the top edge. 2 seats sit sideways, hence the
“governess cart”. Basket and seat are wood. Not your typical foundation-weave governess cart. Brass rein rail.
This cart is a one-of-a-kind, “look-at-me” style. It is in great condition but it does need to be refinished. Asking
$1,200 OBO. It cost well over $3,000 when I had it built. Please email me at Miponies1@Yahoo or call me at
505-864-1229.
